The NH90 is fitted with two engines offering an unrivalled power reserve even in hot and high conditions. The air intakes are equipped with sand filters while the Environmental Control Systems preserves the crew and the avionics suite.
The sensors of the NH90 allow the helicopter crew to handle safely the operation even in brown out situations encountered in the desertic theatres of operations.
