It is designed to operate in autonomously or in the frame of joint operations to perform rescue missions in peace time or ASW and ASuW in crisis time.
The NH90 NFH program, managed by NHIndustries is the result of a joint cooperation between Agusta Westland, Eurocopter and Fokker.
75 NH90s have been delivered and the current backlog is 529 firm orders.
