NH90s flying high in the British skies during Royal Air Tattoo 2022

NHIndustries was proud of the presence of the German Bundeswehr and the Royal Netherland Air Force with their NH90 during Royal Air Tattoo 2022.

From July 15th to 17th at the RAF Fairford Base, public was able to meet the crew presenting the helicopters in their most advanced version of the German TTH and the Dutch NFH, but also witness the unmatched capabilities of both those variants during the aerial demonstrations.
Such presence is an important message in the skies of Fairford at a time where the MOD UK is tendering for the replacement of some of its legacy helicopters. NHIndustries intends to propose a European partnership, with the most advanced matured version of the NH90 TTH, backed by its shareholders Airbus Helicopters, Leonardo and Fokker GKN and their supply chains to support the current NMH campaign
This event comes just one week after the successful Users Conference, held in the Soesterberg Museum in Netherlands, where NH90 Users have had the opportunity to meet the Industry, strengthening the thrust of the Nations operating the helicopter.
The NH90 military helicopter is a modern, multi-role rotorcraft designed to meet the most stringent NATO standards. Developed in two versions – tactical transport (TTH) and NATO frigate helicopter (NFH) – the NH90 contains a unique, fully integrated mission system for operations in the most demanding conditions over land and sea, day and night. It has been ordered by fourteen nations (France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Australia, Finland, Greece, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Qatar, Spain and Sweden).
