NHI is pleased to announce that it has received from NAHEMA (Nato Helicopter Management Agency), the Declaration of Compliance for the German and Italian NH90 TTH variants in Final Operational Capability configuration (FOC).
This declaration has been followed as well on October 28th, by same declaration of compliance for the French and the Belgian TTH variants .
This important programme milestone is acknowledging the compliance of the NH90 in its TTH version with regard to specifications to meet the operational requirements, thus enabling the exploitation of the aircraft into operational theatres with full capabilities.
This event is also recognizing the fulfilment of NHI commitments with regard to the NH90 Design and Development Contract.
The NH90 is the most successful European helicopter programme ever. Firm orders have been placed by 14 countries including France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Greece, Spain and Belgium in Europe, as well as Australia, New Zealand and Oman overseas. The NH90, developed in the TTH utility transport and NFH naval versions, proves the ideal solution to meet requirements from many potential additional customers worldwide for a number of duties. The NH90 programme is managed by NAHEMA (NATO Helicopter Management Agency) representing France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands and Portugal, and by the
NH Industries industrial consortium comprising AgustaWestland (32%), Eurocopter (62.5%) and Fokker (5.5%).
